Acceptable Identification:

In order to legally verify a signer’s identification, the signer must provide acceptable identification at the time of the signing.  Acceptable identification includes:

• Driver's license or non-driver's ID from California or another state
• Driver's license from Mexico or Canada
• US military ID card
• Foreign passport stamped by the US INS
• Current U.S. Passport
• Other forms of identification may be acceptable in accordance with state law. 
  

A Social Security card is not acceptable! 
In the rare case that an acceptable photo ID is not available for a signer, the signer must provide two witnesses who can verify their identity.   These witnesses must be able to provide acceptable identification for themselves as well.
